Conditions were fair. Flow was down so getting into the cavern was very easy. Visibility was alright, with about 15-20′ on Saturday in the upper tunnel. It got better once you got down the stairs and into the lower tunnel. After recovering from a primary light failure early in the first dive, the remainder of the weekend went well.

On Saturday a new buddy (at least new to me) from St. Louis met with us and I dove with him in the upper tunnel. Visibility seemed to be deteriorating as the flow changed a little. But otherwise conditions were fine and we had a couple great dives.

ROUBIDOUX REPORT: Sorry,. Cave/Cavern Divers, but the recent rains (and it appears more on the way) have turned the viz to nearly zero! Standing on the road above the spring you are unable to even see the bottom rocks. Also, the flow is beginning to rise

ROUBIDOUX REPORT, PART DEUX: The spring STILL looks great, even after this weeks rains! Viz appears to be good, and the flow rate is negligible. For those planning to join Michael Angelo Gagliardi for the NSS-CDS event, it’s looking like a solid GO for Roubidoux….
